Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation FAQ

Where Are You Located?

We are located at 5157 N. Francisco Ave, in the same building as the Galter LifeCenter. We have a dedicated entrance on the south side of the building (around the right side of the building when facing the main entrance of Galter LifeCenter, near the Healing Garden).

What are Your Hours of Operation?

Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Do I Need a Referral From My Doctor?

Yes. We require a physician's order for therapy, including the reason your physician is referring you to physical therapy.

Does My Insurance Pay for Therapy?

Physical therapy is usually covered by most insurance plans, but individual plans do differ significantly. We strongly advise checking with your insurance company before scheduling an appointment.

Is Parking Available?

Free parking available in the parking lot next to our entrance. If there is not an available parking space, you may also use the Swedish Hospital parking garage for a daily fee of $4. There is also street parking available on Foster Ave. and Francisco Ave. You may drop the patient off in front of our entrance before parking if necessary

How Long are Therapy Sessions?

Your session will be approximately 45 minutes per therapist. If you require two or more therapy types the length of treatment will alter accordingly.

How Will My Doctor Know What Progress I Have Made in Therapy?

Following your first visit, your referring physician will receive a summary outlining the plan of care that you and your therapist have agreed upon. Your physician will then receive updates documenting your progress at regular intervals.
