Patient Room Details

Upon admission to the hospital, you will receive a copy of our Patient Handbook, which contains information about your stay.

Your room is cleaned by Swedish Covenant Hospital's Environmental Services Department daily. For the protection of our patients and employees, standard safety precautions are followed. Our employees may wear gloves, masks, gowns or protective eye gear when there is a possibility of exposing contagions.

    Internet and Telephone

Wireless internet is available in patient rooms. For your convenience, you may make free local calls from your room. Any calls placed outside of our local calling area will require the use of a calling card. TTY and auxiliary devices for the hearing impaired are also available. Swedish Covenant Hospital is not responsible for any valuables brought into the hospital.

Your caregiver provides a clean washcloth, towel, gown and pillowcase on a daily basis. Other linens are changed as needed.

    Meals and Dietitian Services

Your doctor prescribes your diet to meet your individual health needs. If you are on a modified diet while in the hospital, a registered dietitian is available to provide nutrition counseling at no charge. International menus, including Korean and Hispanic foods, are also available. Patients may also receive certain diet selections for religious purposes (Kosher or Halal).
