McCormick Montessori Campus

Where are you located? 

McCormick Montessori Child Care Center is located on the Swedish Hospital campus – south of Foster Ave. and west of California Ave. The building is between the Galter Medical Pavilion, the Healing Garden, and the Main Parking Garage. 

What are the hours of operation? 

Starting September 7

• Opening time: 6:45 am 
• Closing time: 4:00 pm (Infant- Turtle classroom)
• Closing time: 5:00 pm (Toddler- Owl and Busy Bee, PreK 3-6 years/ Bear, Eagle, and Butterfly)

Continued: Staggered and scheduled drop-off and pick-up times based upon an approximate 8.5 hour school day for your child. As always, we are happy to accommodate schedule changes as needs arise. 

MMCCC is open year-round, except these holidays and some days adjacent to New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and teacher in-service days. We occasionally close early throughout the year (e.g. Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve). Parents are notified well in advance of any early closings.

 

Where can I park my car?

There are eight reserved parking spots for “Child Care Drop-Off” on the north side of the Swedish Hospital Main Parking Garbage. These spots are strictly reserved for people dropping off or picking up children from the Center. Parents must obtain a Parking Pass from the office in order to park in these reserved spots. Otherwise, cars may be ticketed. Employees of the Hospital are required to sign up for the parking payroll deduction plan. They are not permitted to stay parked in the reserved spots for their entire work day.
