The NorthShore Audiology Department
works to diagnose and treat hearing loss as well as related auditory problems in people of all ages. Our audiologists are dedicated to educating patients on hearing loss and ways in which to minimize its impact on daily life. The team collaborates closely with ENT physicians and we are part of several multi-disciplinary teams within NorthShore.
Head and Neck Cancer
We offer comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and recovery for patients with benign and malignant cancers relating to the head and neck
Otology/Neuro-otology (Inner Ear)
Neuro-otologists, physician-assistants and audiology subspecialists collaborate to provide patients with a hearing evaluation and full physical exam, including an ear microscopy, in the same appointment and in the same office for conditions of the inner ear.
Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery
NorthShore's Sinus and Skull Base Surgery program provides customized medical and surgical treatment options delivered by a multidisciplinary team of allergists, immunologists, pulmonologists, neurosurgeons, oculoplastic specialists and maxillofacial surgeons.
We also offer computer-assisted and revision endoscopic sinus surgery for complicated sinus disease and interdisciplinary minimally invasive surgical approaches to the skull base, orbit, and optic nerve.
Our Sleep Surgery program specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatments for sleep disorders. NorthShore was the first in Illinois to perform the state-of-the-art Inspire Therapy Surgery. Some of the most common surgeries performed include minimally invasive and advance surgical techniques.
Our Pediatric Otolaryngologists work together with families and primary care physicians to help everything from ear and sinus infections to airway obstructions to head and neck tumors.
