What to Expect From Your Visit

Safety Procedures at Hospital Entrances

When You Arrive on Campus

We will screen you for signs of COVID-19, including taking your temperature. Please arrive already wearing a mask or we will provide one for you. Disinfect your hands and shoes upon entering and exiting by using the provided hand sanitizer and disinfectant mats.

What to Expect From an Office Visit

Your Provider's Office

We've separated waiting room chairs and provide guides for where to stand and sit at a safe distance from others. Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place for high traffic areas such as waiting and exam rooms. Please wear your mask during the entirety of your visit.

Patient Quotes and Testimonials

"From the staff in the lobby screening for COVID-19 to the time I was discharged, I was treated courteously, efficiently and respectfully."

"I appreciated all of the protocols in place with regards to COVID-19. As a pregnant woman walking into a hospital at this time, I felt as safe as I could."

Comprehensive Safety Protocols in Place

Enhanced safety measures are in place, including:

    Thermometer

    Screening for Illness

We are screening each person over the phone and in-person before every visit. We are screening all our employees and checking their temperatures twice daily.

    Masks

    Universal Masking

All staff and patients are required to wear masks at all times. We are providing masks to everyone who enters without one.

    Hand-Hygiene

    Hand Hygiene

We have hand sanitizer and sterilizing foot mats available at all entrances and exits and are asking patients to wash their hands with soap and water as you arrive at your provider’s office.

    Physical Distancing

    Physical Distancing

We’ve reconfigured waiting rooms and physically marked places to stand in public areas, including elevators, to promote social distancing.

    Enhanced-Cleaning

    Enhanced Hospital Cleaning

All patient care areas are regularly and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in accordance with CDC standards. Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place for high traffic areas, including waiting and exam rooms. Shoe sanitizing floor mats have been installed at entrances to deliver sanitizer to the bottoms of footwear.

    Visiting-Policy

    Strict Visitor Restrictions

Strict visitor restrictions remain in place as we continue to prioritize the health of our patients and staff. See our latest policy>>

Office visits for COVID-related symptoms that require an in-person evaluation are being done in a specific clinic designed to treat COVID patients, seperate from the general clinic population. We have designated inpatient units of the hospital strictly for COVID-19 patients to isolate them from the rest of our patients and staff.

    COVID-Testing

    COVID-19 Testing

We’re testing every elective surgical patient for COVID-19 prior to surgery and have made significant changes to help turn our surgical and procedural areas into COVID-resistant zones. We’re also testing every pregnant patient for COVID-19 prior to their delivery.

    Limiting-In-Person-Contact

    Limited In-Person Contact

We’re limiting person-to-person contact by preregistering patients, verifying demographics and insurance and collecting co-payments over the phone the night before your appointment. We're also staggering patient appointments to limit patient-to-patient interactions.

And by scheduling primary and specialty care appointments as virtual visits whenever possible, you can often see your doctor from the comfort of home.
