Ethics for Rehabilitation Professionals
Health care professionals today are faced with many regulations, responsibilities and standards. There are HIPAA regulations, professional codes of conduct/ethics, state practice acts and business conduct, just to name a few. So what is ethics, how do you determine if a problem is an ethical issue, and how do we address and resolve ethical situations in our workplace? This presentation will review ethic principles and discuss tools and resources for ethical decision-making. Participants will put their knowledge to work and hone their new skills through case studies. Refreshments will be served.
