Resident Life

We believe that the best patient care is provided by residents who have balanced and happy lives. Our program looks for ways to support our residents while they journey through their post-graduate training. Our department has regularly sponsored social events throughout the year to support wellness and stress mitigation. Our faculty are also always available.

Residents also have informal gatherings at each other's homes, local bars, restaurants and area attraction on a regular basis. One of the perks of being in a residency in Chicago is the wide variety of events and activities at your fingertips. Our residents truly feel as if they are family when they are in and out of the hospital.
