Chicago residents can experience an entirely new approach to primary medical care with the opening of The Clark. The advanced primary care medical destination offers Integrative and Functional Medicine, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health and OB/GYN services.
“We are redefining the entire patient experience and will offer an unrivaled level of care in a comfortable, elegant environment,” said Dr. Shayna Mancuso, OB/GYN and Medical Director of The Clark. “Our message to patients and the community is ‘welcome to feeling cared for’ and we plan to live that in many ways by offering excellent care options, online scheduling, same-day appointments, hand-tailored treatment plans along with high end amenities, including concierge check-in, spa like exam rooms and a comfortable waiting lounge with WiFi.”
The new outpatient facility fits the strategy of expanding the community impact of Swedish Covenant Health. “The opening of The Clark helps extend our reach into an important community that we want to become even more familiar with our offerings,” said Anthony Guaccio, President and CEO of Swedish Covenant Health. “Our aim is to make everyone feel cared for every step of the journey through thoughtful design and by offering access to excellent providers and services close to home.”
The Clark, located at 5346 N. Clark is now open following a year-long construction process committed to creating a unique patient experience. “We redefined health care because we came at it from a completely different perspective,” added Dr. Mancuso. “We analyzed every touchpoint and designed an experience that is unique and special to The Clark. One that we think patients will appreciate.”
The approach to The Clark was different from the start. “First, we identified a group of highly trained physicians with unparalleled bedside manners to join our team,’ added Dr. Mancuso. “And then we hand-picked our staff and managers to truly align with our mission of making each patient feel welcome, relaxed, and cared for.”
The Clark is owned by Swedish Covenant Health and its doctors are employed bySwedish Covenant Medical Group. If there is something additional that needs to be addressed by another specialty that is not at The Clark, the staff will guide patients through the exceptional services offered by Swedish Covenant Health.
