The
American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) recently designated
Swedish Covenant Midwifery Group an ACNM Best Practice facility for “Triple Aim” achievement. This recognition acknowledges Swedish Covenant Medical Group's Midwifery Practice as improving population health and patient experience while reducing cost of care associated with midwifery services.

Allison Manko, MSN, CNM, co-director of Swedish Covenant Midwifery Group which is part of the Swedish Covenant Medical Group (SCMG). “We have stayed true to our mission of partnering with women to provide a holistic approach to health care through fostering a supportive and empowering atmosphere with open communication.”
To earn “Triple Aim” Best Practice, Swedish Covenant Hospital achieved an average primary cesarean birth rate of less than 23.9%, preterm birth rate of less than 11.4% and an exclusive breastfeeding rate within the first 48 hours of more than 81%.
The SCMG Midwifery Group was the only midwifery group in Illinois to earn the distinction.
