I grew up in a household that encouraged proper nutrition and good health. As I was being trained in medicine, I felt there was a gap between prevention through lifestyle choices and treatment of acute disease. As I looked for avenues to correct this disconnect, I discovered functional and integrative medicine, which I felt was an extremely effective way to combine both prevention and treatment to better serve my patients.  
 
What services do you provide to your patients? 
I provide primary care services to patients of age 18 and older. I approach all of my patients with the same care and professionalism. If patients are interested in utilizing an integrative and function treatment approach, then I employ those methods. In addition to traditional care, I also do specialty testing to shed light on a patient’s disease process which allows me to better diagnose and treat my patients. 

What can your patients expect from a visit with you?  I take time and make every effort to get to know my patients as individuals. I evaluate not only what is bothering them, but also how they live, what food they eat, how they sleep, their level of stress and the activities and hobbies they enjoy. There is no rush when seeing my patients. I complete a thorough evaluation and work together with them to create their care plan. Having the patient involved in the decision making process is extremely important to their success.
