Who Should Get an Antibody Test?

All individuals who have been symptom-free for over 14 days may choose to get a COVID-19 Antibody Test. Some reasons to be tested may include:

  • You experienced undiagnosed symptoms of COVID-19 more than two weeks ago and want a diagnostic confirmation
  • You are required to take an Antibody Test for your work
  • You are curious whether you may have been infected without experiencing any symptoms

An Antibody Test is NOT Advised if You Have a Current COVID-19 Infection

It takes 10-14 days for your body to generate enough antibody volume to be detected by this blood test.

If you currently have COVID-19 symptoms, you will need to get tested for the infection via our Drive-Through Testing Tent>>

What Does a Positive Result Mean?

A positive result can:

  • Confirm your exposure to COVID-19.
  • Help you understand potential exposure risk for your family and others with whom you have had close contact.
  • Provide insight into your personal health and safety practices.
This is not a test for active COVID-19 infection. At this time it is unclear whether people with a positive result may be less susceptible to future infection. As we learn more about exposure patterns, we can better understand COVID-19 and the ongoing risk to our community. If you are a health care worker, please consider sharing your test result in a secure manner directly with your organization.
