The Department of Laboratory Medicine offers laboratory analysis and patient testing in the areas of surgical pathology, autopsy, cytopathology, FNA assists, chemistry, immunology, hematology, coagulation, toxicology, urinalysis, microbiology and transfusion medicine. Ninety-seven percent of physician and hospital requests are performed right here at Swedish Hospital.
After you receive a referral from your physician, you will receive instructions on how to present for testing. Whatever your needs, we take care to make you feel comfortable while offering you the latest, most advanced diagnostic procedures available. Please note: No appointment is necessary for x-rays or general lab work. Simply present doctor's order during registration at one of the draw stations listed below. Endeavor Health Medical Group provider patients do not have to bring in an order when the order has been entered in the patient portal.
