Swedish Covenant Hospital developed this event to impact community safety, especially for the many bikers who may not have a helmet or be able to afford one.
“Our doctors have long recognized the importance of wearing bike helmets and practicing bike safety,” said Anthony Guaccio, President and CEO of Swedish Covenant Hospital. “We are taking this bold step to improve the safety of children and adults who bike throughout our community. Working with community leaders and partners, we identified this need and are excited to help make a positive impact on the safety of our community.”
Hop on your bikes and join the fun (rain or shine) in the Galter LifeCenter parking lot on Swedish Covenant Hospital’s campus, 5115 N. Francisco Ave. in Albany Park.
Free garage parking is available. For bikers, there’s a DIVVY station onsite and a big bike rack too!
