I love Dr Moe (Maloul). I believe she truly cares about what I am going through. I am open and honest with her about my health because I know she won't judge me. She listens, makes recommendations and shows great empathy.

I've never been so disappointed with a new provider appointment in my life. She took no time to get to know me and never asked about any family history.

I came in for a new patient physical. The appointment consisted of the physician asking what I wanted to discuss, when I presented two topics, I was immediately asked if I wanted medication. After saying numerous times I did not want medication, I was not heard and still asked additional times about receiving an Rx. The actual physical was very brief, checking eyes, nose, ears and barely looking in my throat. She informed me I was overweight, but did not discuss any ways to improve my BMI, laughed at the fact that I had a mini hand sanitizer attached to my purse stating "oh you're one of those people". The nurse came to draw blood. I was able to see my results the same day and waited 3 days for the physician to view (over the weekend, so understandable). My HDL Cholesterol is low, and she stated that twice in her message to me, indicated all other labs are normal and then wrote "here are ways to work on lowering your cholesterol". It seemed as if she wasn't even paying attention to anything. I definitely will not go back and see this physician again.

She did not remember a genetic condition of my health that I told her about last year and said she could not access the genetic test in my portal.

Dr. Moe if a fine doc and I have no specific issue to report. In general, regarding all of my experience with the US medical establishment, I have NEVER had a doctor or health professional mention anything regarding diet and exercise. I think a focus on these two matter might mitigate a lot of health issues we face in the US. I find the reliance on pharmaceuticals to be a rather flimsy bandage in addressing the health problems we face nowadays.
