The inhaler wasn't sent until 72 hours later after I had to call and message to remind them. My lungs were not listened to on exam, which I know isn't necessarily the OB field. But my main concern was my worsening cough, being uncomfortable during my C-section recovery, and developing pneumonia. The medical student and doctor mostly assumed that I was only concerned about my stitches ripping in recovery, which I never brought up. And I ended up having pneumonia. I understand, especially with having a student, that things get rushed and it's tough to keep up with the day. I work in healthcare. But I felt dismissed more than reassured.
