Dr. Mitchell not only provided an alternative diagnosis to a long standing diagnosis ( 27 years ago) needing medication but spent time with me explaining why. The nurses were all courteous.

The triage nurse who called me and helped me get scheduled was extremely patronizing. She did not listen to me or take my concerns seriously.The nurse at my visit took all my vitals without looking at my face or acknowledging me. The doctor was outside the room prior to my appointment talking to other staff about how overfilled her schedule was. Since I could hear this entire conversation, when she entered my exam room I did not feel that my health was a priority for her time. I and my family have been patients at Swedish for 6 years, and this is by far the worst care I have experienced in my years as a patient.

Dr. Mitchell is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. She's knowledgeable and kindhearted. She's very approachable when it comes to her "bedside manner." She listens, and then she responds, she doesn't wait to talk. She actually listens to what you're saying, and responds with some solid medical advice. She's the the kind of doctor that I'll definitely follow up with. This comment comes from a person who doesn't like visiting the doctor. She's an awesome doctor. You'll be in good hands.

Not knowledgeable about adhd and mental health. I felt a bit undermined about my experiences and what already works for me regarding medications.
