Will my insurance cover pain management therapy?

Pain management therapy is offered on an outpatient basis. Treatment is covered by most insurance policies, but check with your carrier to be sure.

When will I be able to get an appointment?

Wait time to see our physicians varies from three to 10 days, based on their schedule. We will do everything possible to accommodate your scheduling needs as quickly as possible.

What should I bring with me?

  • Complete the Initial Pain Questionnaire before your appointment, if possible. Completing this in advance will make your appointment more efficient, and may allow you more time with your physician. You may also complete it on the day of your appointment.
  • A list of all medications you are presently taking, including doses and times, as well as the names of physicians prescribing.
  • Any information that you may have, such as CT scans, x-rays or MRI reports.
  • Your current insurance information.

How long will the appointment take? What will I be doing?

Pain treatment is very complex, and we want to do a very thorough assessment in order to develop an individualized treatment plan for you. Please allow two to two-and-a-half hours for your initial appointment. We ask that you complete the Initial Pain Questionnaire prior to your appointment to expedite the process.

Your appointment includes reviewing the questionnaire, your doctor's examination, a possible procedure and education about pain management. Your treatment plan will be discussed with you, and a report will be sent to your primary care physician.
