Nancy Overcomes Stroke With
Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation 

Nancy's daughter brought her to Swedish Hospital's Emergency Department with symptoms of a stroke. She was immediately treated with tPA, the only drug approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat ischemic stroke. Once the condition was managed, she began to receive comprehensive therapy. After graduating from our inpatient rehabilitation program, she is on her way to our specialized Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Program where she hopes to continue to regain control in the arm and leg affected by the stroke.
