Meditation and Reflection Sessions, Pastoral Care Team and More

Weekly Meditation Sessions
You are welcome to attend our meditation sessions every Thursday at 12:00 noon in our Chapel. Led by a hospital chaplain, these opportunities for quiet, mindful reflection are open to all, regardless of background or beliefs. Meditation self-guides are also available in the Chapel at any time.

Pastoral Care Team
Sometimes the need for a spiritual companion can happen when you least expect it. That's why our dedicated staff of hospital chaplains is available to you in person or by phone-24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Attend meditation and support groups led by our chaplains, who come from many cultural backgrounds, and take advantage of their compassionate support.

Blessing of the Hands
Our chaplains perform an annual blessing of the hands for our caregivers who with to receive a blessing. Offered during Nurses' and Hospital Weeks, these opportunities will become more frequent to allow all caregivers to receive a special benediction for the work they do with you.

Reflection Groups
Take advantage of reflection groups offered by Swedish Covenant Hospital's Spirituality Team. Meeting in several patient units, these groups provide guided and communal discussion for patients and caregivers, giving an opportunity for spiritual reflection and prayerful community.
