Smoke-Free Campus
Starting January 2005, our hospital has become completely smoke-free. We have designated off-campus areas if you do smoke, but feel this is the best way to increase your quality of experience with us.
Noise Reduction Program
In an effort to reduce unnecessary noise or overhead interruptions to your time at the hospital, we limit our overhead announcements to hospital events that are open to all and unforeseen emergencies. At Swedish Covenant Hospital, you are much more likely to hear our baby chimes than pages for physicians!
Service Initiative
Keeping our hospital clean for your visit is very important to us, and we invite you to help us keep our collective space as tidy as possible. You will find boxes located throughout the hospital that say "Keeping Swedish Covenant Hospital Spotless," and contain a trash bin, hand sanitizer and gloves.
Fish Tanks in Waiting Areas
When visiting our hospital, you can enjoy large fish tanks full of colorful fish, located in a number of our waiting areas. These unexpected visitors to the hospital bring a bit of relaxation and unexpected pleasure to several of our busiest areas, such as our Laboratory waiting area and the first floor of Anderson Pavilion.
Chapel
For prayerful reflection or just a bit of quiet time, you can always spend a moment in our Chapel, located on the 3rd floor of the main building. Learn more about our Chapel >
