Emily Rubenstein, D.O., is a dermatologist who treats both medical and cosmetic skin conditions in adults and children. She attended Midwestern University for medical school and completed her residency at Nova Southeastern University/Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ankita Patel, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing since 2009.
Ankita received her bachelor’s degree in community health/health administration and planning at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. After graduating she went on to complete a physician assistant program at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where she did her elective rotation and preceptorship in dermatology and discovered her passion for the field.
Ankita enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including treating conditions such as acne, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. She also has experience with laser surgery and skin of color.
Ankita is an active member of the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
