Balance Center

With state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated therapists, the new Balance Center offers patients with balance-related conditions a unique and comprehensive rehabilitation experience.

The center, located on the second floor of Galter LifeCenter, was built to meet the increasing number of patients at risk for falling, particularly older adults.

The Balance Center is a multifunction room for evaluation, treatment, retraining and biofeedback. Equipment in the center includes a LiteGait treadmill, Frenzel goggles and a Nintendo Wii.

The Wii is a great biofeedback tool as well as an interactive exercise game. It can really benefit the patients because they’re playing a game, but also using their balance to control the game.
