Home Health Care

Swedish Covenant Hospital's Home Health Care professionals offer skilled, compassionate services for homebound patients who are having difficulty caring for themselves due to a new or chronic illness or injury. Patients and families feel a sense of comfort knowing that the best available skills, medical equipment and resources are provided to enhance recovery at home. Infusion Center

Cancer patients often require hydration and medication for extra support throughout their recovery. This is available though the Infusion Center, located in the Galter Medical Pavilion.

Lymphedema Treatment Center

To assist patients experiencing swelling in the extremities due to surgery involving the lymphatic system, we have established a special treatment center staffed by highly skilled physical and occupational therapists. Patients receive individualized counseling, therapy and education to help reduce their edema and improve their quality of life.

Pain Management

Physical and occupational therapy, health psychology, alternative therapies, medication and self-care counseling help cancer patients deal with the pain that can accompany cancer and its treatment. For more information, visit our Pain Management main page >

Palliative Care, Pastoral Care and Hospice

We offer a number of support systems to help the patient, their family members and friends cope when an illness is no longer curable. Care concentrates on maximizing the quality of life, relieving pain and addressing both psychological and spiritual needs.

Supporting Services

A full range of additional programs are available to cancer patients, including nutrition counseling, aquatics therapy in a warm-water pool, speech and language services and swallowing disorders therapy, among others. For more information, ask your caregiver.
