At Swedish Covenant Hospital, we are constantly innovating and growing our cancer services through the adoption of new technologies, and the establishment of new community relationships. For example, our hospital is equipped with innovative 3-D mammogram technology, which helps to provide earlier, faster and more accurate breast cancer diagnoses. Our CyberKnife Cancer Institute of Chicago—a 10,000-square-foot facility located on Michigan Avenue—is equipped with the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System, which provides cancer patients with a non-invasive alternative to surgery. Additionally, our affiliation with the Rush University Medical Center allows us to pool our resources with other cancer experts in Chicago to improve and increase treatment and research opportunities for our community.
