At Swedish Covenant Hospital, your satisfaction with the experience you have with us is our priority, and a matter of personal pride. Our nurses are guided by leadership who work every day to create an environment where we can give you our best. All of us work using the virtues of the American Nursing Association's Code of Ethics, which emphasizes compassion and respect.
We are constantly assessing the quality of your experience, and refining our practices and programs to treat you even better. Two measures of the consistently exceptional quality of care you can expect at Swedish Covenant are our low turnover and vacancy rates. We also take advantage of the American Nurses Association National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI)®, a benchmark tool for evaluating and enhancing our practices.
And as much as quality is a goal for all individual Swedish Covenant nurses, quality has always been a priority at the group level, so we are organized in a way that helps us constantly improve. The people who work on our Nursing Quality and Safety Committee oversee our adherence to National Patient Safety goals and other measures of quality. They also perform observational surveys that we believe give us a valuable way to assess the quality of your experience.
Our Nursing Ethics Forum Committee serves as a think tank and a support group for nurses to dialogue about ethical issues. Then there's the Interdisciplinary Safety Committee, in place to assure the safety of nurses, patients and the organization alike. And all of these groups are tied together by our professional practice model. We reinforce and support each other through shared values and constant communication, which means your experience at Swedish Covenant Hospital is always the best it can be.
